The Uganda Child Rights Protection Mission (UCRPM) is a child-centered, non-profit, non-political, and humanitarian organization committed to promoting, protecting, and defending the rights and wellbeing of children across Uganda.
The Organization was established in response to the growing challenges affecting children, including poverty, school dropout, child labor, abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination, limited access to healthcare, early marriages, and other violations of children's rights.
UCRPM exists to ensure that children are protected, empowered, educated, and supported to reach their full potential while enjoying their rights as recognized under the Constitution of Uganda and internationally recognized child protection principles.
The idea was born from the recognition that many children continue to face barriers that prevent them from enjoying their rights, accessing education, receiving adequate healthcare, and growing up in safe and supportive communities.
UCRPM was therefore established as a platform to unite communities, volunteers, partners, institutions, and supporters in advancing the protection, empowerment, and welfare of children.
To create a Uganda where every child lives in dignity, safety, equality, freedom, and access to opportunities for a brighter future.
To protect and promote children's rights through advocacy, safeguarding, education support, health promotion, humanitarian action, empowerment programs, and community engagement.
The Organization operates under the following values:
The safety and wellbeing of children remain our highest priority.
We act honestly, ethically, and responsibly in all our activities.
We are accountable to children, families, supporters, partners, and communities.
